Antica Formula was created by Antonio Benedetto Carpano, the inventor of Vermouth, in 1786 in Turin, Italy. Its original and distinctive recipe remain in tact today thanks to Fratelli Branca Distilleries commitment to making sure the recipe goes unchanged over time. This "Nectar of the Gods" is characterized by a unique bouquet of mountain herbs and spices. The recipe includes unmistakable vanilla notes, prized saffron, citrus fruits, dried raisins and cloves. Its unmistakable taste and rich, structured, body has a bright amaranth color and amber veins. The Antica Formula label is a reproduction of the original label designed in 1786.
